The spring quarter Coyote Economist, issued by the Department of Economics at CSUSB, has just been published. The lead article is a piece on the political economics of Mexican immigration, written by yours truly. There’s also an article introducing the newest member of our department, Dr. Rishabh Kumar, as well as an entry on my upcoming retirement (I’ll be starting the Faculty Early Retirement Program, FERP, in the fall of 2017). You’ll also find information on the upcoming Seniors Reception, End-of-the-Year Party, Spring Commencement, and next year’s tentative schedule of classes. Enjoy!
