Due to personal circumstances I have been absent for quite some time (years), doing no more than to post my department’s quarterly Coyote Economist. The clouds have been slowly parting and I’m beginning to feel alive once again. I’ve learned to change my attitude and not rail against fate. So, I’ll start uploading more frequently than I have during the last three years. My first venture involves uploading a paper I wrote a long time ago (1998) but never submitted for publication. It covers topics (ideology) that I’ve always been fascinated by and seems appropriate in light of the critiques that have emerged since the Great Recession. The paper is entitled Economics as a Ceremonial Institution.
